A bachelor or bachelorette party in Rome that is more than a pub crawl

Golf cart tours at sunset, hands-in-the-dough cooking classes, treasure hunts through the alleys, dinner on a private terrace. Groups of 4 to 30, experiences from €60 per person, organized by the licensed pros of the TourLeaderPro network.

Most stag and hen weekends in Rome follow the same script: a party bus, a round of shots near Campo de' Fiori, and a hangover that eats the whole Saturday. You can organize that yourself for free. What you can't organize yourself is a golf cart convoy through the centro storico at sunset, a private terrace with prosecco above the rooftops, or a treasure hunt where your friends race each other through Trastevere's alleys with challenges written specifically about the groom. That second kind of party is what the TourLeaderPro bachelor & bachelorette service builds, and the prices are public, which in this industry is rarer than it should be.

ItalyPlanner is part of the same network: licensed Roman tour leaders who run these events in person. This page tells you what exists, what it costs, and what to skip. If you want the short version: pick two experiences plus a dinner, budget around €200–250 per person for the full day, and book the date before you argue about anything else. Rome weekends fill up.

The experiences, with prices per person

🚘 Golf cart tour, monuments, secret panoramas, photo stops. The ice-breaker. 1.5–2hfrom €75
🥂 Panoramic aperitivo, terrace over Rome's rooftops, prosecco, Roman appetizers. 1.5hfrom €65
🍳 Cooking class, handmade pasta, carbonara, tiramisu, then you eat it all. 2.5–3hfrom €95
🗺 Treasure hunt, teams, clues, challenges through the alleys. Laughs guaranteed. 2–3hfrom €70
🍷 Wine tasting. Lazio and Italian wines in a historic wine bar or cellar. 1.5hfrom €60
🍽 Dinner in an exclusive venue, private terraces, hidden gardens, boutique wine bars. 2–3hfrom €80
Full-day package, golf cart + cooking class + exclusive dinner, all inclusivefrom €250

My honest ranking after watching dozens of these groups: the treasure hunt produces the best photos and the best stories, the cooking class is the sleeper hit (even the skeptics end up elbow-deep in flour), and the golf cart tour is the right opener because nobody has to walk while they are still fresh off a flight. The wine tasting is the one to drop if the group is more beer than Barolo, do the aperitivo instead.

How the organization works

You send the date, the head count and the style of the group, wild, classy, or somewhere in between. The organizers come back with a program and a quote. You adjust, confirm, and show up. Everything in between (venue bookings, route permits for the golf carts, the chef, the surprise for the groom) is handled by people who do this every weekend in their own city. Groups run from 4 to 30 people. Bigger parties get parallel experiences that converge for dinner.

One thing worth saying plainly: this isn't a booking platform with an algorithm and a call center. It is a small Roman team, which is exactly why the surprises stay secret and the itinerary can change on the fly when someone misses a flight.

Quick answers

How many people can join? From 4 to 30 people. For larger groups the organizers run multiple experiences in parallel and merge everyone for dinner.

Can it be a full weekend instead of one day? Yes. Friday evening to Sunday with hotel, restaurants, activities and transport handled as an all-inclusive package on request.

Can we plan surprises for the groom or bride? Yes, and this is where a local organizer earns their fee: surprise moments, hidden messages along the route, personalized gifts, all planned in secret with the group.
