Italy Wine Regions: North to South
Piedmont (Piemonte)
Italy's most prestigious wine region by appellation count (17 DOCG) and by international auction values. Key DOCG: Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d'Asti, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Moscato d'Asti, Gavi, Roero, Brachetto d'Acqui. Sicily (Sicilia)
