Why “licensed” is not decoration
Italy regulates guiding. In most monuments and museums — the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums, the Uffizi — only licensed guides may legally conduct tours. Anyone with a website can sell you an itinerary; very few of the people selling them can legally walk you through the places on it. Ours can, because guiding is their actual job.
