How ItalyPlanner earns money

Last updated: November 7, 2026

ItalyPlanner is free to read. It is run by Daniele Dezi, ditta individuale (VAT IT18149671002, Rome), and it earns money in three ways.

1. Affiliate commissions

When you buy a tour, ticket, hotel, train or other service after clicking one of our links, the seller may pay us a percentage of the sale. You pay the same price. Partners include GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Booking.com and brands reached through Travelpayouts and Awin. Affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code and open on the seller's site, where you pay and where your contract is.

2. Two paid planning services

The Itinerary Review (€49) and the Custom Itinerary (€249) are sold by Daniele Dezi. They are advice: no bookings are included. Terms, VAT and withdrawal rights are in the Terms of Use, Section 5.

3. The TourLeaderPro.com network

Tour leaders and guides in the network pay TourLeaderPro.com for their membership. If you hire one of them for a private day, you pay the professional directly. ItalyPlanner takes no cut of that payment.

What we don't do

• We never take money to put a place in a "best of" list or to rank it higher.
• We don't publish reviews written by sellers, and we don't invent ratings.
• We don't show prices we can't check. Prices on the Site are estimates; the seller's checkout price is the one that counts.

ItalyPlanner is not a travel agency and does not sell travel packages. More details: Disclaimer & Affiliate Disclosure.
